For both the 50% deposit and final payment, I will send you an invoice that has a link to pay on my website. If you are a local client, I can also take cash, check, or credit card payment during your drop-off and pick-up appointments.

What batting should I use?
What thread do you use?
Superior Threads So Fine #50, MicroQuilter #100, and Bottom Line #60. Occasionally I will use Isacord Solid embroidery polyester thread or Aurifil #50 cotton thread if the quilt top calls for it! These brands have proven to give me the best results and are very strong. They also come in so many beautiful colors!
Any important policies or disclaimers I should know about?
Fullness Disclaimer - Fullness and/or puckers within a quilt and its borders cannot be quilted out. I cannot guarantee that puckers and tucks won’t be sewn in. In some cases excessive fullness in borders may result in the quilt corners not being square. The flatter your quilt top is, the better the finished quilt will be.
Mechanical Disclaimer – Please be aware that longarm machines are mechanical devices. Although I do my utmost to ensure perfect results every time, on very rare occasions mechanical problems can occur which may cause minor damage to a quilt top and/or backing.
Pets Disclaimer - Quilting is done in a home with pets. All client quilts and batting will be stored in a pet free room. Every effort is made to create a pet free environment - including using a robot vacuum daily!
Human Disclaimer - All effort is made to make your quilt as perfect as possible. However, I am only human and you are purchasing a hand crafted service. Variations in quilting are normal and expected.
Photo Disclaimer - Charmed Life Quilting reserves the right to photograph your completed quilt and use the photo on the Charmed Life Quilting website and other social media. Credit will be given if the client wishes, otherwise client privacy is protected! If you wish to opt out of photography, please let me know during the initial consultation!
Payment Disclaimer - By paying the 50% deposit, you are indicating that you have read and understood these disclaimers. As well, you have reviewed and authorize the invoiced work to be completed on your quilt by Charmed Life Quilting. You understand that you are financially responsible for the cost of services as stated. If the quilt is displayed in a show or publication, you agree to credit the machine quilting to Charmed Life Quilting.

I don't life in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and I want you to quilt my quilt. What's the process?
I will call you on the phone number you entered on the contact form to discuss quilting designs, thread, quilt use, prices, policies, shipping, and payment.
Once we have designed your quilt together, I will send you an invoice with all services listed. A 50% deposit is required before I can start working on your quilt.
Ship me your quilt! I will send you an email once it has arrived.
Quilting is complete! I will send you a final invoice for the final, remaining payment of services.
Once final payment is received, I will ship your quilt back to you and send you an email with tracking information.
